Order of Service

An Order of Service is a fitting tribute to your loved one and a lasting keepsake.

Order of Service

We have our own in house design and printing department where we can provide Orders of Service that are printed to a high standard, giving you quality that looks impressive yet respectful. Whilst some people choose a design straight from our guide, others like us to create a bespoke design incorporating special photographs such as their loved one's garden, prized car, pet, special place and much more.

Once you have picked the design you would like, we will need any photographs that you want included in the Order of Service and the wake location if applicable (once you have booked it). After you have met and discussed the funeral service with the Officiant (the person taking the funeral service), they will email us the running order of the service (including any readings and poems) so we can compile the Order of Service. Once the Order of Service has been designed and compiled we will email a proof for your approval.

We will work with you to ensure you have an Order of Service that is a fitting tribute to your loved one and a lasting keepsake.

“The advantage of Thornalley Funeral Services having their own designer and printing department enabled us to create a personal, bespoke and fitting tribute to Dad. The service was seamless, quick and efficient.” The Harris family

“Chris the designer worked closely with us to ensure the Order of Service was exactly how we wanted it, nothing was too much trouble.” Mr Alvingham

“Having the flexibility to mix the designs together worked great, we received the amended proof back within minutes, making the design and tweaking process quick and easy.” Mrs Sheila Cox

Both Nichola and Peter at Thornalley have been fantastic from first enquiry to the day of the funeral itself. From the sensitive handling of my initial call, to making it easy for me to go through the list of decisions to make, to answering any questions however small and always being available on the phone, to the very professional and gentle handling of my mum on the day of the funeral with carrying her into the chapel and touching base with me re next steps. Don't know why you'd contact anyone else in the West Norfolk area, I didn't need to.
