Delia was a wonderful friend who I had the pleasure of spending many happy years with. We met on the kings Lynn train going to watch Arsenal. Delia loved her football. We travelled home and away together for many years and shared many happy moments laughing and joking. We enjoyed a nice pint in the pub before football and a packet of crisps. Delia was the boss planning our timing and our trips even regular meals including her firm favourite at The Castle rising tea rooms. I could go on for hours. But thank you Delia for your friendship and the joy. God bless you. Xx

Remembering a great friend and lifelong Arsenal supporter. I will miss the times we shared together, but treasure the happy memories of our days out following the mighty Gooners through the good times and not so good! You will be remembered fondly and sadly missed. Rest in peace Delia xx

United by the colours white and red, Delia was the wonderful soul who brought four friends together, Nuff said. Malcolm

DELIA FERGUSON

I only knew Delia from the trips home from match day with Arsenal - since the Wenger era - but have to say what a thoroughly delightful person she was - even during some truly woeful periods with Nicholas Bentner up front - she was always jolly - telling stories on the way home of her journeys down to London on the old steam trains back in the day - which kept everyone amused!! Really sorry to hear of her passing - I’m sure she’ll keep all the Gooner’s upstairs thoroughly entertained - RIP - Rob x

Delia was the driving force amongst us six friends who worked together for many years at Norwich County Court. We are all retired now but continued to meet up regularly for lunches at various restaurants around Norfolk. Delia also invited us to lunch at her home on several occasions. She was a wonderful hostess and we always looked forward to her delicious culinary creations! Delia had a great zest for life and was full of fun and laughter. She loved her holidays, football and tennis and very much enjoyed her visits to the opera. She will be greatly missed by us all. Brenda and Paul, Fiona, Mags and David, Janet and Liz and Trevor

Delia was a constant friend, a loyal colleague and a true inspiration. I have fond memories of our regular trips (invariably organised by Delia) to meet our friend Bob (deceased) and latterly his wife Nora to chat, reminiscence and put the world to rights with a bottle of wine. Greatly missed always remembered. Deepest sympathy to David, Lorraine and Oliver with love from Valerie and Stephen

At the most difficult times its nice to have professional support that is genuinely given, couldn’t have asked for more for my mothers passing.
