I remember so many things Dad, with the cubs & scouts, with your trips to Australia to stay with me for a few weeks each year. But one hilarious day sticks in my mind when we went out on the boat for yours & mum's anniversary, we got lost & were 4 hrs overdue in bringing the boat back. It was hilarious because the boat hire place was going frantic thinking we were stealing the boat & threatened up with sending out the water patrol police, we were shouting out on the phone Yes please do, they can help us find the way back !!! Our ribs & jaws ached with laughing. I love you Dad, all of my memories are precious & remain in my heart & mind. Rest easy Dad. All my love always & forever, your loving daughter Elaine xxxxxx

My Grandad, a wealth of knowledge and a very clever man, you were so patient in teaching me so many lessons and so many skills that have set me up well in my life, but more importantly, these have given me so many precious memories with you Grandad, memories that I will treasure forever.
