I felt privileged to have known John. A dear friend . I knew him from Conservation and also at Sing Your Heart Out. He left a lasting wildlife legacy and improved the local environment.

I knew John as leader of the West Norfolk Consevation Volunteers which I later helped to run and produce work programmes. In recent years I have served him in Lidl's store in King's Lynn. So sad to hear of his passing.

I remember John when he planted a lot of trees around the back of St. Faith's Church. He was a large personality within the Gaywood area and you would see him riding his bike with his shorts on, always looking busy. He will be missed. R.I.P.

I met John at parkrun several years ago and thought what a lovely gent he was. Always smiling and positive. I will always remember him for his quirky running attire and his sense of fun. My sincere condolences to all the family.
