So sad that Janet did not live to enjoy her later years in retirement with family and friends. We have happy family memories of her earlier years at family visits. Bill and Brenda Nelson

Sincere condolences for the loss of such a lovely, funny and accomplished lady. Lots of memories from our days at ‘Bowskill’s’; chatting at Lesley’s and seeing first hand Janet’s nursing abilities in ITU. Such a sad loss for all her family and friends I am sure. Rest in peace Janet xxx

The time I spent working on the Critical Care unit, Janet was easy to talk to, someone you could turn to. Janet was always warm and caring, to her patients and all the team. Her infectious laughter, the giggles we also shared. Gone far too soon. Fly to the angel’s dearest Janet. Sleep well.

God bless lovely lady ❤️

So very sorry to hear of your passing. We worked together for many years and experienced good times and sad times in CCU. You were a brilliant, compassionate nurse and excellent role model and colleague. Sending deepest sympathy to your family. Gone too soon, RIP. X

Jane Moore

One of those colleagues who, when you looked at the day's rota and saw she was on, made you go "Yahoo". One of the few, true, work soulmates. One of the best nurses I ever worked with (truly). One of the nicest of folk. Sincere condolences to all the family.

Tony Motte.

It's so sad Janet, that you didn't get to do the lovely things you had planned. Sleep peacefully Janet, luv Syl and family xxx

Spent many many years working along side Janet in I.T.U. There was never a dull moment on Janet's shifts and the laughter we had over the "janet moments" if she had water in her hands you knew to stand clear because it would some how end up over you. It was an absolute pleasure working along side Janet and I loved the fact she was a (secret Kardashian fan) so we could gossip about the show . Gone too soon sleep well Janet Love Mel x

So very sorry to hear of Janets passing, I too worked with her at Bowskills, we were part of a great team - somehow I was always the one caught without a duster in my hand when Michael Bowskill came back into the pharmacy - Janet was always one step ahead of me, love and my condolences to all your family xx

Janet could speak volumes with just one look. She was brutally honest, stubborn, sharp as a pin and quick to laugh. You always knew where Janet was with that infectious laugh of hers. She was full of funny life stories and she made me laugh so much. She would not want any tears or sadness. I’ll always remember you Janet. My heartfelt thoughts to all your family and friends.

At a traumatic time in our lives, Thornalley were a shining light of professionalism, kindness and understanding. It was the greatest comfort to feel confidence in their handling of the funeral. They excelled themselves in every stage of the process and we could not recommend Thornalley highly enough. Thank you for looking after our loved one with grace and understanding.
